Dorchester County, S.C. - The Dorchester County Republican Party in South Carolina has announced that it will begin its 2024 Presidential Town Hall Series with Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican Presidential Candidate. The event, titled the "Dorchester County GOP Presidential Sweet Tea Stop", will take place on March 18th at the Summerville Country Club, and is open to both the press and members of the public.
Dorchester Republican Chairman Steven Wright expressed his enthusiasm for the event, saying, "We are very excited to kick off our Dorchester County GOP Presidential Sweet Tea Stop with Republican Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Historically, South Carolina has played a critical role in picking the next President of the United States dating back to President Ronald Reagan in 1980. Our Dorchester County GOP Presidential Sweet Tea Stop provides an opportunity for voters to hear directly from those seeking the highest office in the land, and ask questions of the candidates working to earn their vote."
The event is significant, as South Carolina has played a crucial role in previous presidential elections, including the election of Ronald Reagan in 1980. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from candidates and ask questions, helping them make informed decisions when casting their votes.
