Dorchester District Two (DDTwo) has provided the latest update regarding Hurricane Debby, which has now been upgraded to a Category 1 hurricane. According to the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the storm is expected to track through Florida and Georgia before stalling over our region. While high winds are not anticipated to be a major concern, the forecasted heavy rainfall of 10-30 inches over the next few days could significantly impact travel conditions.
Current Status:
Work Schedules: No changes have been made to employee work schedules at this time. Decisions will be made on a day-to-day basis.
6th Grade Meet the Teacher Night: Scheduled for tonight, Monday, August 5th, and will proceed as planned.
Elementary School Meet the Teacher Night: Set for Tuesday, August 6th, and will continue as scheduled unless there is a significant change in the forecast.
After School Activities: No changes to after school activities for today, Monday, August 5th.
