Ingrid Centurion Drops Out of SC-1 Race And Endorses Arrington



Summerville, S.C.- Ingrid Centurion has just announced her intention to drop out of the SC-1 race. She will be endorsing Katie Arrington who is the only credible Republican challenger running against Nancy Mace in the upcoming June 14th Republican Primary.


Ingrid had struggled to gain any traction in the race. Her abysmal fundraising numbers show less than $7,000 cash on hand as of the last end of quarter filling. She most notably moved to South Carolina last year in 2021 after running for office in a different state in 2020. Political experts point to that key fact as to why she was never able to gain traction with Lowcountry Conservative voters who felt she was an opportunist.


Ingrid's announcement comes on the final day to file for the seat with the deadline happening today (Wednesday) at noon. In her statement she pointed to "family health issues" as her reason for leaving the race. Read her statement below:
