Summerville, S.C. - A new development, Dayfield Park, is coming to Nexton that will bring an estimated 500 new jobs and a range of amenities such as office space, restaurants, a gym, daycare, and pet daycare.
The 60-acre park will consist of 15 buildings, built in three phases. Phase 1 includes 5 single-story buildings with 100,000 sq. ft. of commercial office space and 20,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space.
The core of the office space will feature The Goddard School daycare, HYLO Fitness, and a pet daycare/boarding/grooming facility with a bar, Go Dog. Brent Gibadlo, VP and GM of Nexton, said Dayfield Park will provide an immersive community experience and make daily commutes more convenient.
Groundbreaking is planned for summer 2023, with completion expected in 2026.
This sounds like what The Ponds Village Center was planned to be by Greenwood. Sadly, we now have Kolter - they have no intention of following the DA they signed when they bought our community.
