After a 5 and 12 season and a rough offensive performance throughout, the Carolina Panthers and Matt Rhule have decided to bring in former Giants coach Ben McAdoo to fill their open offensive coordinator position.
McAdoo brings more experience to the position than past higher Joe Brady, Who was fired with five weeks left to go in the season.
Last season McAdoo was an offensive consultant for the Dallas Cowboys; before that, he held the offensive coordinator position in New York for the Giants before becoming their head coach for two seasons.
Rhule is hoping that McAdoo's experience will help elevate a rather listless Panthers offense that ranked 30th in the NFL this past season.
