Summerville Awarded $29,400 Tourism Advertising Grant for “Destination Summerville” Project



Summerville, SC — The Town of Summerville is excited to announce that it has been awarded a $29,400 Tourism Advertising Grant from Discover South Carolina. This funding will support the new “Destination Summerville” initiative, a vibrant project designed to highlight the town’s unique attractions and charm.


The “Destination Summerville” project aims to showcase the best that Summerville has to offer, including its beautiful parks, delicious dining options, and distinctive local shops. The initiative will feature a variety of promotional materials, including ads in magazines, social media campaigns, and two strategically placed billboards.


Leading this effort are Grants Writer Pamela Wike and Cassie Ford, alongside the dedicated team at Visit Summerville. Their combined expertise will ensure that the town's distinctive features are effectively communicated to potential visitors.
